My dad is such a typical Brooklynite
and I love it. I wish he had brought me up in Brooklyn, in retrospect. He took me there a great amount of times during my childhood - some of my fondest memories having been at Prospect Park and the Brooklyn Museum. It’s probably where I acquired my love for history and nature - learning about Egyptian practices and metallurgical achievements - having the word “sarcophagus” roll...
